I love that the chippy red paint says “I came from a barn”, but doesn’t say “This is a red bathroom”.Well, you don’t know that because I haven’t let you see the rest of the bathroom yet, but trust me on this.(It’s done, we just have a few finishing touches to do before it’s ready to show off!).
I used mis-matched metals on the hardware and it totally makes the piece.I was worried it would be weird, but really I think it would feel weird if we had this cabinet all full of character and then all of a sudden we had this pristine-looking matchy matchy hardware.
The knobs are brushed nickel and the hooks underneath are polished chrome and it just works..
So what do you think?Because of the delicateness of the zucchini, this dish is best served right away, straight from the oven!.
I made this earlier in the day, thinking that I would just reheat it for supper, but because it was so delicious when I tasted a little bite, I ended up eating a whole plate of it for lunch!… and then I kept picking at it for the rest of the afternoon.I did end up reheating it and using it as a side dish with dinner and it was still pretty tasty then.
Chris actually said it was his favorite way that he’s had zucchini yet, which is a big compliment because he’s not the biggest zucchini fan.I found though that I did like it a little better when it was super fresh!.
